As pop babe Anastacia has allegedly found out - and it's all spookily similar to a certain romantic movie. The 32-year-old singer has fallen for her bodyguard, Wayne Newton. A source told The Sun: "It's just like the movie The Bodyguard - where Whitney Houston falls in love with her minder. "The chemistry between them was obvious - Anastacia has lavished gifts on him - including a Cartier watch." But there is another side to the story, according to the paper. They report that Wayne has left the mother of his two children, aged nine and two, to be with Anastacia. Lorraine Elston claimed that she and Wayne had been "very much in love" and said: "I'm devastated." Wayne told the paper: "The problem with Anastacia and me was that we went from a professional relationship to being friends. But I can't talk to you about my private life." A spokesman for Anastacia, who beat breast cancer in 2004, said: "Anastacia makes a point of never discussing her private life or relationships." Back<< -- |
