Anastacia Electronica Singing the sweet and raw melodies of the digital lifestyle. Do you have a computer? Yes, a Sony VAIO laptop, a gift from David Massey of Daylight Records. And I have my own Website. I'm getting little mini-lessons for the computer, though I mostly use it for DVDs and e-mail. Being on the road, it gets difficult to talk to people, and the hours and all different, but you can always send e-mails. What is your favorite device? The hair dryer. And the flatiron. I finally started buying European-based ones, because I've destroyed so many appliances that weren't made for European outlets. They just catch on fire. Other than hair dryers, what electronic product do you enjoy the most? Television. It puts me to sleep. And I don't have to talk, which is the part of the business that is most draining. I can sit there and listen to somebody else yap. Do you know how to program a VCR? Probably not. Id on't know how to change my oil, either. I had somebody else put air in my tires the other day. I was scared I'd low them up. Do you take a camcorder with you on tour? I have one, but I don't use it, I just like to be in the moment. I don't want to be a director-I want to be part of the party, and if I'm filming it, I can't. What futuristic technology would you most like to see happen? A cell phone with a camera--a video cell phone. That would rule. Back<< -- |
